"Pleasant hotel in two parts - accommodation in second part which meant going outside to get breakfast etc. Room big with balcony, although road right outside it was not noisy. No air-con though. Breakfast good choice, cooked if you wanted it and meals in the hotel good too. Service a bit slow."

"This is a nice, quiet hotel off the beaten track. Staff was great.and very friendly. A very short drive i to town for dinner and shopping. Not much walki g distance from hotel. Breakfast buffet was amazing. So much to choose from! The only real down side is no AC. Mid summer heat spell made it a little rough, but otherwise a great stay!"

"The Alte Winzerhof offers comfortable modern rooms in a beautifully modernized historic building. The room was delightful, the breakfast delicious, and the staff very helpful. A couple houses down the road is an excellent restaurant specializing in regional cuisine, with nice outdoor seating. The area is beautiful and the wine excellent. Highly recommended."

"Lovely hotel with restaurant and garden, brilliant on a hot evening. Nearby parking but only a few spaces. Annweiler is an unspoilt small German town with lots of nearby walks in Black Forrest. Hotel is simple, clean and in a lovely location in the centre of the old town."

"This was an overnight stop while driving from England to OberBayern. The location by the Lake, in an afforested area is excellent and the Proprietor couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was very good and the swimming pool much bigger than I expected. There are a lot of excellent walks in the area and the Lake has boats and a nice snack bar - I believe there is a restaurant on the Lakeside as well. As for the hotel, the room was clean, comfortable and has an excellent shower but the...

"I travel thru Europe on motorcycle every year and have stayed in many different hotel. The only thing good about this hotel was the food, The room was old and dirty. Internet never worked, No TV. Smallest shower i have ever seen. Not worth the money charged. Worth maybe 35euros."
