"Nice hotel in a nice location. Some reception staff are more helpful than others. Breakfast is awful. Cleaning staff take all of 1 minute to "refresh" your room. At check in you're asked to give a 1000 baht deposit, which is absolutely fine. At check out we were told that a bottle opener was missing from our room. We had'nt seen or used a bottle opener in the duration of our stay. When my husband had a beer in the room he had to use our nail clippers to open the bottle. Long story short, we were...

"Arrival: Rented the suite after reading reviews. There is a bellman that will be waiting at the pier upon your arrival. Look through all the people holding hotel signs until you find the right one. He loaded the bags on a cart and we took the short walk to our room. Hotel is very convenient to EVERYTHING, especially the center of the market. "Make sure you arrive on the east side not the west beach. The photos show the west side but we had to carry our luggage all the way through the resort. There is a lot of revamping going on at the resort at the moment. Staff were friendly, and the place was well kept. However some of the rooms could do with a little care and attention but for the price you can’t grumble too much. "
