"This hotel was a perfect location right on a beautiful beach. We first had a room on the “nautical themed” side. This side is a lot older and run down feeling than the other more renovated side. We changed rooms at midnight due to three bus loads of kids (not school buses but giant tour buses) being on the floor right above us. These kids were INSANELY loud and unsupervised. You could hear every word they screamed (yes screamed), they were dragging furniture all over the room and...

"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"The Good: The room was clean and spacious. It has a great location along the river, with a friendly staff, and the breakfast had a lot of options. The Bad: Sound proofing was not great and we didn't sleep well. Our room was on the 1st floor next to the stairs and elevator, so we could hear people coming and going all the time. "The central location in the older part of the city could not be bettere. Five minutes on foot from excellent restaurants and the Basilica. Front desk service was friendly and efficient with good English. "
