“It was cheaper than most hotels and we just needed a bed for the night and it was clean . It seemed to be an old hotel they remodeled some we had a kitchenett rm. with a king bed no hair dryer 2 bath towels wash cloths hand towels . Tv was antenna so not much to watch. Said it had a outdoor pool but it was covered .over all it was ok for 1 night.”

“This is a great hotel. We stayed here for the second time on our way from Toronto to Myrtle Beach. It was as good as last year: very clean - when you enter it smells cleanliness (Lysol:), the room is also very clean and fresh. I think we also got the same suit, at least it looked very similar. It was very quiet, beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious - I love biscuits & gravy. Highly recommend!”

“Great place for the night”

“Room was freezing and in need of a simple chair. There were pleny downstairs but not in the room. You need a chair to dress and put shoes on. Also when you finish riding you don’t want to sit on the bed. Also kitchen needed a drying rack paper towels or dish cloths. Beds were comfortable and location great. View of falls wonderful. Does the tv work downstairs?”

“We took our dog to get away from fireworks and this was the perfect place in the mountains. Walk to river to tube or wade. Two wonderful state parks nearby. Lots of hiking trails nearby as well and River House is a wonderful base for numerous outdoor activities. Just a wonderful place to relax. A five star place. Breakfast was wonderful and while we did not eat dinner. food smelled delicious. Nice small bar to get a great cocktail.”
