"We stayed so we could walk to the airport in the morning. They start serving a filling breakfast by 4/4:30 am, which was much appreciated. It is a short, uncovered walk to the airport. We would stay here again if we had a morning flight as it is convenient, clean and comfortable. "

"Great location, large room, fantastic hot breakfast, helpful staff, and two free drinks on check-in! Shower was small and the bathroom could have used some shelves, but this would be my go-to hotel if I find myself back in Reykjavik. "

"This hotel is in the perfect location to explore Reykjavik. It’s also very close to bus stop 6 where a lot of tours pick up. The staff are very helpful. The desk clerk went above and beyond when we needed to change our accommodation at check-in. The breakfast buffet was really nice, and the restaurant choices in the evening were delicious. All in all, a great stay."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Reykjavik Lights hotel, so much so that we decided to stay there for the tail end of our Iceland trip as well! Great included continental breakfast. We even ate at the pizza restaurant below the hotel our first night there. Nice modern, clean rooms. Our first room was more spacious than the second, but overall the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Iceland and at the best price too! Would absolutely stay here again."

"I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with hot tub with two friends for one night as part of our visit to the south coast of Iceland. The property is lovely, recently renovated and simple but beautiful. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette with glasses, plates, silverware, and enough basic pots and pans to cook if you like. We ate at the restaurant on site instead - the food was delicious and the wine selection was very nice. The star of the show was the private hot tub!...
