"This is a hotel in Chinese style, it's not westernized.Its more of old time China. Famous because a lot of famous people have been staying there, including chairman Mao. But it meets western needs and you will probably feel comfortable there as I did."

"It was nice enough. The room was a good size, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Our only complaint was that the free breakfast is supposed to go until 10; we went down at 9 and there was nothing left on the buffet but 3 slices of bread. When we finally saw an employee she brought us some coffee but otherwise we were out of luck. So if you want breakfast, go early."

If you walk over the bridge you are right next to a huge mall and shopping area. I think the customer service is lacking. The cleaning staff is lazy. I didn’t feel welcome at all and it took forever to check in because they couldn’t find my reservation.
