Luciano who was the main man there could not have been more generous with his time and hospitality, and he turned what might have been an average stay into a pleasant stay. The roads or should I say dust tracks to get to the property are interesting and we had great times on the quad bikes scooting around on them. Ponto de Ouro was a fascinating place. "The booking I had requested to be changed to 31 December was booked for 31 January and we had no accommodation for the evening of the 31 December. This I discovered when I informed the person who works for or owns the lodge on the 31st of December that we would see him that evening. I am still waiting for my refund as he then informed us he is fully booked so can no longer assist us. He also said it was my responsibility to check the invoice to make sure he had put the correct date on it even...

"Very centrally located accommodation, walking distance to basically everything! The service was absolutely amazing and definitely the reason we would go back!! We had a big group of 14 people and everyone loved the trip! Staff was incredibly helpful! Bathrooms need an upgrade, however accommodation was extremely cheap and definitely worth the money. All in all, very pleased with our trip and planning on making it a yearly trip!! "
