"The Poland Spring Resort is not your typical golfing resort. It feels more like an old fashioned resort with a camp kind of experience. It would be a good place for family and group gatherings providing golf for the adults while providing games and outdoor activities for the kids. The rooms are scattered among various historical buildings throughout the property with the Maine Inn being the main location. While the rooms were cleaned, the rooms looked old with aged windows and radiators. The aged doors require traditional keys which in my case didn’t always work the first time. Still I liked the historical vibe of the building (Presidential Inn) and room. The property was expansive with lots of roaming space for kids. I would return based on my limited experience."
