However you can tell the hotel is extremely in need of maintenance, and housekeeping is stretched so thin that they are barely hanging in there - doing the minimum to keep the place running. "I enjoy staying at this hotel in Sofia about once a year for 3–4 nights. There are many reasons for this; the main ones—though not necessarily in order of importance—are: The casino, which is an integral part of the hotel. The hotel's location, which puts good restaurants, shopping centers, parks, historical sites, and more within walking distance. I stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis and can attest that the breakfast is rich and varied. The hotel staff is service-oriented and helpful. The hotel also features a pool and a spa; while I haven't used them myself, I’ve heard positive feedback from those who have."

"Great stay. New hotel. Walkable to the center and much more affordable than staying in the center. Great value. Good breakfast included. Small gym, good for a decent work out. Staff is helpful.
