"Hotel safe was not working when I checked in. This should be have been checked before a hotel guest checks in. Spent an hour waiting for this to be resolved. There should be a shuttle bus to the Wuxi Train Station. "

"Overall, Ascott Central Wuxi was a very good location for the vibe and within walking distance to mall, restaurants, movie theater, etc. Only comment: 8th floor carpet leading to dining area was very dirty/soiled - appears similar to water stain that worsened over time. My suggestion is for hotel management to replace immediately. "

"Service at the guste and hospitality department is not professional. I had them receiving some parcels for me, the guy working there seems rude and impatient. Condition is also not very satisfied, too old and air conditioner is not working well."

"Located in the new district area which is further away from train station and city center, but close to the city's industry center. Clean with nice space, comes with shower and a bath tub, and they do clean your room on a daily basis. But you need to pay attention to items with price tag which are sold by the hotel and if you open any of these (even accidentally) you will have to pay."

"Pros: Great breakfast and service. Concierge was very helpful. Hotel was close to the venue but nothing else. Cons: bed is extremely hard with resultant poor sleep. The bathroom and bedroom are separated by glass! Even with the blinds drawn, you can still see into the shower from the bedroom. (Very strange). Coffee was terrible. My AC didn’t work and front desk only offered an apology. "

"This property has gone down hill since it opened as a Shangrila. It is now 20 years old and despite several branding changes (now VOCO an IIHG hotel) and a renovation, the service and remodel is substandard. The hotel claims it is a 5 star but the room service menu is a joke. The food is hust bad. And the inviting feeling to foreigners it once had with English speaking employees, currency exchange service, ann ATM on premises and a room service menu loaded with foreign options, there are...

"This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the amenities are high end and plentiful, the tea area was a great bonus. TV channels included 4-5 in Enhlish. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food options and everything was very good. I really enjoyed the noodle soup. There is a huge mall within a short walk with lots of restaurants and food choices. I would happily stay here again!"
