"Walking distance to Old Phuket Town if you can handle the heat! The area was somewhat safe besides one homeless man who seemed a little dangerous to walk past to get to Old Town. Hint, he stayed inside an abandoned building and typically minded his own business until he wandered onto the sidewalk occasionally. It was very clean and there were lots of events going on: cooking classes, rock climbing, excursions, etc. The staff was amazing and always making sure everything was okay and that we were enjoying our stay. "Wawa and Gan at the bar go above and beyond for the guests. The buffet breakfast is fabulous, so many choices. Omlet station, western and Thai options. The rooms are flawless (both in cleanliness, the furniture is stylish, the AC is cold, and the ambiance). The pool and pool bar were fantastic, well kept and clean, as well as the property as a whole. Can’t say enough good things."

"We had an amazing stay at Sunwing. Very polite and friendly staff, the property is kept very clean and well maintained. Tons of pools for kids, different activities to keep them busy. The beach is right at the back door, calm and swimmable. The entire area is family frindly, very safe too. "

"The facility is very excellent. Three large sliders in the swimming pool together with huge kid and teen clubs for family. Wifi is excellent, and staff also allow us to check-in late until 2:15 pm (we bought Kayak tour ticket in the moring)."

"Good location if you’re wanting to have some distance from the hustle and bustle of Bangla Rd - approx 15 minute walk. The hotel is quite beautiful with a gorgeous pool. The staff were all absolutely amazing, so attentive, kind and answered any of our silly questions. The rooms are decent with really good beds although there is a sewerage scent that comes and goes but if you keep your toilet lid down, it’s mostly okay. Family friendly and affordable, would recommend. "
