"Massively impacted by rain floods which made main road leading to and fro the lodge near to impossible to navigate on or over. Rivulets and erosion break offs. "We just completed our stay at Mara Intrepid camp. It was an unforgettable experience! Great location right on the Talek River. Excellent food with lots of options (plus a full bar), and the staff really go out of their way to ensure the comfort of each and every guest. The tents have lots of space and all the comforts we are used to at home. If you’re booking a safari game drive with them, do insist on a Toyota Land Cruiser over the Land Rover."

We indicated by mail, weeks in advance, that we would like to do all game drives. Afterwards we understood that Shadrack, the General Manager, had suggested to our driver from Nairobi to leave us at the camp without the possibility to do the game drives at all.
