"We enjoyed our stay in Arcachon. Our room overlooked the shops and street, the market right in the square near the hotel was great, and it wasn't a far walk from the train station. The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions."

"Its a case of 5 stars for the hotel, 0 stars for the experience. The hotel will say it's off season, as a guest there's no such thing. Apart from the building site opposite that starts at 6:30am with trucks & diggers night 2 was an event. The event started late afternoon with night club volume music and by 9pm seemed to be never ending. A trip to reception assured me this would be over soon. "As the hotel is at least 30 to 50 mins away from other restaurants depending on which way you walk, then best to book at least b&b or 1/2 board. It needs to sharpen up its treatment of allergens in the food served. Whilst it has a notice tooked away at the entrance of the restaurant this does not include the plat de jour menus, the menus do not make reference to allergens either. "Small boutique hotel that couldn’t be better located in Cap Ferret. The rooms are small but nice. The one thing I will note is that I booked on hotels.com and when I checked in, the lady handling the check-in mentioned breakfast was available in the restaurant off the lobby. I enquired if she was sure breakfast was included and she said yes. I had paid €400 per night so assumed she was correct. On checkout, the same lady said it hadn’t been included so ended up paying €50 for two breakfasts that...
