"Lovely tranquil location, but not difficult to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large, very clean, with a very good en-suite that had an excellent shower. Outdoor heated swimming pool was a bonus and was open for around 12 hours each day. Grounds were well kept, with several nice places to sit and relax in front of some spectacular views. More work is being done to add extra children's play areas. Nice restaurant and bar area. Around a ten minute drive to Tavira, so close...

"The hotel is right in the centre of Faro, in front of the waterfront. It's modern, functional and has good staff. The dining room is on the top floor and has a very useful terrace/ veranda round it, ideal for an evening drink. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was the only meal we ate in the hotel and it was very good with a great range of food. "Tavira is a very quiet area of the Algarve. This hotel is very convenient to the riverside and catching the quick ferry to the pretty island beaches. The hotel is between a 3.5 - 4 star, I’d say. They don’t have any staff to help w/your luggage. The ample buffet breakfast was nice!"

"Amazing stay! Everything was excellent from start to finish. Staff from the restaurant was super efficient and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious with good variety. Very clean. The only negative for me would be the noise at night from the corridors and from outside but wouldn’t say that’s the hotel’s fault but to do with lack of respect from other people. "12 nights family holiday. We’ve stayed before at this hotel and we were delighted with our room - ask for a rear view of the nature reserve! Food is always excellent at the Iberostar. We stayed half board so can’t comment on drinks but they looked good. I would say the lighting in the canteen style restaurant needs working on as the ambience was OK for evening dinner.
