Dubrovnik Islands 5 Stars Hotels

Beautiful classic hotel with helpful staff. Room was small but immaculate. Wine on the terrace as the sun set was memorable. The breakfast buffet was incredible. Finally staying in the old town was magical.

Hotel was gorgeous and very clean. We reserved ocean front balcony and it was worth it to have a view of the ocean. The pool was amazing with lots of chairs and umbrellas. The beach was also nice (bring water shoes as the beach is rocky) with lots of chairs and umbrellas. This hotel is a bit out of the way from all the downtown things (which we liked for the quiet aspect) so food options were more limited, but the food the hotel offered and few restaurants on property were very yummy.

We just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel More. Of course the surroundings are magnificent. But the hotel staff and on-site facilities are what make or break a hotel. Delicious food, beautiful pools with views over the sea. Total relaxation. The staff treated our family with care and kindness each and ever encounter. Stayed multiple places in Dubrovnik and this was the best by far! Best location out of any hotel by far! No taxi or bus needed

Sun Gardens is fantastic! We stayed in the residences, but the hotel also looks great! Great place to stay, to eat, to relax.

It was beautiful and had great swimming and sunbathing. Quick bus ride to the old city. The room was nice and a good value. My only complaints are the lack of even moderately priced dining options and the staining of the sheets and rug in our room (looked like old blood).

Here's the gig: Dubrovnik is not huge. The walled city is beautiful but only so much to see as it is mostly restaurants and repetitive shops. A couple of museums, a church or two, etc., but one good day or afternoon and you can cover the highlights. Don't miss the cable car to the top of the hill at twilight. Spectacular.
