This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. “The room we stayed in was rm 5 The Edge, we had full view of the beach and Ocean. The town was within walking distance easy to get around. The hotel and staff were excellent. Would definitely stay again.”

“I liked it was a 13th century property because it has a lot of history. Staff were not visible and liquid soap was not replaced for three days in shared toilet. The young bar tender was pleasant and the kitchen was do it yourself catering. So no breakfast served. Cereals, milk and other loose foods were available though this aspect was not clearly communicated from the start. One bathroom had a power shower which was handy, due to the lack of rain I didn't want to use the baths.”

“Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.”
