"We were only there for one night but the room with its mini kitchen and equipment was lovely.
The staff were super helpful and the breakfast was really good."
"This is an older hotel, and sadly the impressive-looking bars, restaurant, ballroom, etc, are not in use any more - it's operating as room-only (so no breakfasts). But my room had been well looked after - they've kept up with maintenance and it was clean and had character, as well as probably more space than a modern place at a similar price. No a/c, but that's rarely an issue in Aberdeen ;-)
Good wifi, decent shower, helpful staff, and couldn't be much closer to the train or bus station. No complaints, would stay again!"
"Just to say the showers do not have a handrail to hold on and there are 3 steps to negotiate
Loved the informality and the breakfast
Would have been nice to have had a bottle water in the fridge
Had trouble negotiating the TV x a leaflet to help with room service available and instructions how to change TV
Overall apart from little niggles did enjoy and would lovd to stay again"
"Smokers stood right in front of the doors to access the hotel was not a great experience for a non smoker and the doors are directly opposite reception who I'm guessing chose to not ask people to move. The smell then blew into the reception area."
"We loved our visit! We stayed for one night with our dog, and felt welcome and taken care of. As we visited in July, the hotel was in the warmer side, but thankfully the windows in the bedroom opened and there was a small fan provided that we made use of. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Because we had our dog with us, we were sat in the club room, but we were very happy with the service we received here, and were very comfortable at our private table overlooking the estate. The leisure facilities were very clean and had everything you need for a workout, swim, or sauna. Overall, very happy with our stay and would happily return! Only regret is not having stayed an extra night!"
"Lovely place.
Right in Centre city area.
Lovely Restaurant on site, Chop. Quite the extensive menu at reasonable prices. Room service is available.
Breakfast was a great ensemble to choose from. From Full Scottish breakfast to lighter choices."
