Comfort Suites is always a great, affordable option. However, the staff was not prepared for the number of guests at the hotel during our time there. We could not get fresh towels upon request. The hotel was quiet and clean, per usual. Lots of dining options in the area.

The only issue we found was that the breakfast bar was not well managed. At 8:30 in the morning some of the warmers were empty and no one was around to take care of that for 15-20 minutes. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I actually booked this hotel in the wrong location. I was looking for North Abilene and ended up in South Abilene, however, it could have been my error (the online map when booking wasn't that easy to read, mileage wise), and did work out ok. My issue was with the staff when I went down for breakfast at the hotel and when I went back up to my room, my card-key would not work. I went downstairs to the desk attendant and there was a sign there that he/she was out doing laundry and left a phone number to call. I had left my cell phone in my rood to charge. I actually tried using the front desk phone to call the number but could not get an outside number. An employee outside on a smoke break came in after about 30 minutes and told me she would find the attendant and did. I was late for my appointment that morning, but Expedia got my room for the next night cancelled and my credit card refunded. Thank you very much.

It's a very nice hotel. Not too far from the main shopping area and the mall. There's a Subway and a Pizza Hut literally a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel front door.
