“We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!”
“Lovely hotel and room, check in was a bit confusing as we weren’t sure which building Reception was in-ended up having to get back into the car with all our luggage and driving to the lodge which was some distance from the Reception we’d gone to-there are two.
Bathroom looked lovely initially, however when used the toilet flush need Amazonian strength and the shower didn’t drain it could also have done with a bit of Mould and mildew remover. ”

“A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....
