The rest is worth the price

So the time limited aspect is a downside. Our flight meant that we checked in at approx. 2am and checkout was 08.00 at latest, but the much needed rest was priceless. Service was pleasant. For fellow people with tiny bladders, you have to walk approx. 3 minutes to use the airport toilets.

A decent 7 hour sleep inside the airport.

The site said that the reception is only open till 3pm which was incorrect info and resulted me making an International call to U.A.E. to let them know that I will be check-in around 11:30pm and need special facility to do that. The correct info is that the check-in is open 24 hours, just let them know your approx arrival time.

The bathroom was downstairs and like a 5-10 minute walk. The shower was a 15 minute walk! I didn't even bother taking one. It's okay if there are detached facilities but they should be closer to the rooms. Not worth the 50USD I paid for the night. I'll pay a little more for a better place than this next time.

Misleading overnight booking

This hotel booking was misleading as it does not clearly states the overnight booking is just for maximum of 6 hours. However when you check in between )9 AM to 3PM) for day use, it does say for 6 hours max.

仮眠に便利

長いトランジット時に仮眠するには便利ですが、とにかく冷房の効きすぎで寒かったです。洋服着て布団かぶっても寒くて寒くて耐え切れず何度も空港の方へ出ました。また、トイレはデューティフリーエリアまで行かないとならず非常に不便でした。

アブダビ空港のターミナル3にあるのですが、場所がとてもわかりにくかったです。矢印などの看板がなく、空港の職員にきいたら、ターミナル1にあるホテルを教えられ、そちらのスタッフにきいて、やっと見つけました。スタッフの対応は良く、狭いながらも部屋は快適に過ごせました。シャワー、トイレ、洗面の設備はないので、シャワー、トイレは空港の設備を利用することになります。ターミナル3の58ゲート付近に無料で使えるシャワーがあります。 とても清潔で、使用する人もあまりいないようで、ゆっくりシャワーを浴びることができました。ホテルの概要に、シャワー、トイレなしの表記をして欲しいです。

Attention, réservation de 6h maximum

Un scandale ! Arrivé dans le soit disant hôtel, qui en fait est juste un dortoir, on nous annonce que l'on a seulement droit à dormir 6h,pour une escale d'une nuit de 14 h. Heureusement l'hôte très aimable nous propose le créneau 00h-06h,alors nous sommes aller errer dans l'aéroport jusqu'à 00h pour dormir ensuite seulement 6h. Si au moins l'hôtel prévenait en gras et en haut de page que la nuit à plus de 50 euros est seulement pour 6h max alors nous serions allé ailleurs, car en effet après vérification cela est écrit mais en tout petit et sur un côté de la page de réservation qui elle est annoncée pour une nuit entière (incompréhensible !). Bref, faites attention.

I'd most definitely avoid it in future. It was just a BOX to sleep in. The so called room didn't even have tissue box in it. I had to walk around 200-300m to use a toilet as there's no toilet in or near the room. I could hear the person in the next BOX scratching. It should've been a quarter of the price for what they provide you. I've traveled through many different airports (including the under developed countries) but this was my worst experience. Staff didn't even bother to give me a wake up call (which I requested at check in). Luckily I had my own alarm set. If you book it, be prepared for disappointment.

No where in the write up, did it say: no toilet or wash basin in the room. The closest toilet, was a 8 minute walk, in the transit area of the departure area. The room was so small we couldn't stand our suit case up right: bunk beds, and maybe 3 feet wide. All this should be explained for future travelers.

Aerotel Terminal –ideal for long layover transit

I stayed there for a few hours just to take a nap before my transit flight early on the other morning. This nap cabin (that’s how they call it) offers me exactly what I want. I just needed to take a quick nap, so a clean & comfy bed with warm-keeping blanket, a bottle of water, an electronic socket are all I need. These are exactly what you’ll find in the room. Yes, it takes you a few minutes to use the toilet in the Duty Free Shop and it takes time for you to get to the common shower area. To me, it’s not a problem, as there is a water basin and a shower rail in the disabled toilet near the Duty Free. I just need to brush my teeth before going to bed. The check-in process was smooth, and the nap cabin is located in the transit area of the airport, so it takes you maximum 15 minutes to get to the furthest Gate without passing through the security check. Yet you need to be aware that there is another Aerotel hotel in Terminal 1. According to the lodgers’ comments, they’ve already remarked that this one (in Terminal 3) is more difficult to locate. You need to take the escalator opposite the Costa Café and go up to the 1st floor. Other lodgers have also advised us to bring an eye pad ‘cos the “Exit” sign in the room is luminuous throughout the night. Though the rate is still a bit high for a nap cabin, as long as you follow other lodgers’ advice and bring what is required, I have no reservation in recommending this nap cabin for quick layover passengers.
