“Thank you for reimbursing my second reservation at the Wingate by Wyndham Uniontown, PA. However, I am requesting reimbursement for my original prepaid reservation of approximately $72.65 as well due to the circumstances surrounding this stay. When I arrived for check-in, my phone had unexpectedly died and my ID and Expedia confirmation were stored digitally because my wallet had recently been stolen. While attempting to briefly charge my phone to access my reservation, the hotel manager loudly...

“Clean and well maintained. Central heat and AC not reliable. Room temperature varies. Use your ear plugs because of noisey highway. Trees behind the lodge need cutting to prevent roof noise. Microwave and mid-sized refrigerator in room. Cable TV worked great. The bed was comfortable. No extras except soap and towels provided. Low price lodging, not luxury. ”

“The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast did not disappoint, offering a variety of options to choose from. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. There were a number of items out of service such as the treadmills, vending and ice machines, and water fountains, but otherwise we were very pleased with the facility and will most definitely stay again.”

“After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater.”

“This is a very cool historic Inn with character and amenities. The staff are helpful and friendly. The amenities and common spaces make the place - historic and full of character. The two pools, outdoor hot tub, veranda with massive view, and lobby with fireplace ooze charm. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant. The rooms are modest and not the “show” here - but you wouldn’t want to sit in your room anyway. We’ll be back!”

“Tiny, very old room. Blankets had cigarette burns in them. Springs could be felt in the mattress. This place has not been kept up at all.”

“For the price and a quick place to stay well travelling home this was a great place. Room was clean. It’s an older place but was clean staff were nice. Bed was comfortable. Room temp was great. Fridge was a bit loud. This is not a 4star hotel but how can you expect that when you’re paying this price. My husband and daughter were pleased with the stay.”

Location close to campus and interstate. Several restaurants easy walking distance. Excellent value and will return if in the area again. Great people!!”

“This hotel was okay. It was a golf club, and as you know, golf resorts are usually more expensive, but the price was affordable. At night, when we arrived, it was already very late, but I had called earlier to confirm if I could still check in, and they said yes. The person who helped us at 11 p.m. was very polite. However, the front desk assistant the next day was terrible — very rude, with an unfriendly expression, and constantly on her cellphone. When we asked if there was breakfast...

“We’re on a 3000 mile car trip staying at Hilton Garden Inns along the route. Stay was fine, however our evening meal and drinks were more highly priced (30%!!) than others we visited.”
