Great hotel with pool

Spent two nights at this lovely hotel located just outside of the main town area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel owner and staff were lovely. Very nice breakfast and pool area. We were very comfortable here. Do yourself a favor and book directly with the hotel. We booked a sea view room on hotels.com and paid more for those rooms. A seaview was not available, and the owner said all room rates are the same. The owner was great and I believed what she was saying.

A great choice for my vacation. Recommended.

This hotel served me exactly what was described, and as so i am very pleased. What you see is what you get. Its not a great big fancy hotel chain but rather a family run guesthouse style hotel. Nice garden / pool area, Friendly staff, decent food, full bar with reasonable prices. Beach right across the road, 10 min walk to the port (ferry connection) Room with comfy bed and ac, wifi. Its all as should be expected from the presentation of the hotel, no more, no less. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful hotel

Anna, who runs the hotel, and her family are lovely, service minded and friendly people. Our stay there was perfect. The room was newly renovated, the poolarea was great and the hotel is located great - just a 10 min. walk from the city center.

Charming property. Up on the cliffs with great access to a beach if you can climb down the side of the cliffs. Made it very private. Close to the town, within walking distance. Pool is great. Food and drink service great. My only complaint is they were a bit stingy with towels and the bathroom was so small the door hit the toilet. Nice family run. Very clean. I would stay there again!

It will be easier for me to bullet point the issues so as not to badger on: •shower did not work properly, it only released a trickle of water. •no cold water in the room, unless the tap is run for 5-10minutes. •bathroom extremely small. The door didn’t fully open and was very cramped using the toilet. •hotel wifi did not work for the entire stay (4 nights). We were able to log in, however it did not connect anything to the internet. •walls paper thin. Woken every morning by screaming children. •cleaners walked in on us to complete their daily room clean, whilst we were still asleep on two occasions. No sign available to tell them we were in the room and they did not knock on the two occasions. •fridge in the room was a fire hazard. It was situated at the bottom of a cupboard, and it was radiating scary amounts of heat, so much so we had to unplug it for the entire stay. The whole cupboard and clothes we placed inside were boiling hot. •Like some other hotels nowadays, this one uses your room key to allow the use of electricity in the room. Therefore without the key, no items will charge without you present. This includes making the fridge pointless as without us present in the room it was warm and turned off. •facilities such as tennis are offered, however we were not told there is a large surcharge with these activities. Overall, a disappointing stay. For the price we payed, a lot more was expected. The hotel front desk staff seemed lovely enough

Quiet, comfortable hotel with great sea views.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Klonos Anna for 2 nights and found it to be very good. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable and had a great sea view from its private balcony. The room had a fridge and there was ample storage in the wardrobe for clothes. The breakfast was perfectly suitable and included bread, cheese, ham, jam, some pastries, cereal, an egg and the use of a coffee machine. Although we didn't have chance to use the pool, it looked inviting and was a good size. The owners of the hotel were very nice and helpful too. The hotel itself isn't right next to the port, but an easy 10 minute walk or so up a gradual hill. There wasn't a path but there was so little traffic that this wasn't a problem for us. Overall, we really enjoyed our short stay here and would stay again if we were to visit Aegina again.

Hyggeligt familiehotel m masser af personlighed.

Vi bookede m kort varsel (dagen før) p.g.a. en fejlbooking. Vi valgte først og fremmest på prisen (da vi jo også skulle betale det andet hotel) Meget glædelig overrasket. Et rigtig hyggeligt familiehotel med meget personlig service fra ejeren. Jeg tror, vi kommer her igen..:-)

Enjoy your stay!!

Very good location if you want a relaxed holiday, with walking distance to the harbour and center. The owners were amazing, swimming pool and breakfast too. I’d definately would like to come back another time!

Αρχικά, το ξενοδοχείο δεν έχει ασανσέρ, κάτι το οποίο δεν αναφέρεται πουθενά .Επίσης, ενώ στην κράτηση είχαμε κλείσει ένα δωμάτιο με δύο μονά κρεβάτια και κατόπιν τηλεφωνικής επικοινωνίας είχαμε συμφωνήσει, ότι θα είχαμε μαζί μας κ ένα παιδί 4 ετών, που θα κοιμόταν ανάμεσα μας, η κυρία Άννα μας έβαλε σε ένα μικρό δωμάτιο, το οποίο χρίζει οπωσδήποτε ανακαίνισης, με ένα κρεβάτι λίγο μεγαλύτερο από ημίδιπλο στο οποίο δεν χωρούσαμε. Αμέσως, ζητήσαμε να μας δώσουν ένα δωμάτιο με δύο μονά κρεβάτια όπως ήταν η κράτηση, αλλά μας είπαν ότι το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πλήρεις. Λόγω του ότι το δωμάτιο ήταν εξοφλημένο αναγκαστήκαμε να μείνουμε, διαφορετικά θα είχαμε σίγουρα φύγει. Δεν θα επέλεγα ξανά το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο για διαμονή και λόγω παλαιότητας των δωματίων, αλλά κυρίως λόγω της αδιάφορης συμπεριφοράς και της μη προθυμίας να μας παρέχουν τα της κράτησης.

Basic hotel, extremely clean with very nice pool

We visited Aegina for a family event and fall in love with the Island. Klonos Anna Hotel is basic, located short distance from downtown and the port. The owners are always around providing an excellent service with breakfast, drinks, snacks, calling taxi, providing instructions. I am very impressed of the cleaning and service, my only complaint is that beds are very hard. Other than that we really enjoyed our 10 days stay.

Leuk hotel met een fijn zwembad.

De kamers zijn schoon en de eigenaresse en haar dochter zijn behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt in buffetvorm is ook prima. Klonos Anna is een leuk hotel met een fijn zwembad. Aegina stad ligt op loopafstand van het hotel. Stranden zijn er in de directe omgeving wel maar zonder voorzieningen.

Pros: nice staff, great service, nice pool, good location near the port, good breakfast, decent beds. Cons: air conditioner was never cold so the room was just warm and sometimes hot. The fridge was also semi-warm. Wifi was a bit slow. Bathroom is small but manageable. Gave the hotel a 4 out of 5 stars because we've had worse and didn't really mind the cons bc they weren't dealbreakers. But if you're picky you might be bothered.
