Cris and his family are incredibly welcoming and helpful - from pre-arranging transportation to and from the hotel to greeting us with fresh orange juice and homemade treats upon our arrival - they are wonderful hosts. โWe enjoyed our 2 night stay at Archon Seaside Retreat. Christos is a great host and showed us the main areas to visit when we first arrived. The rooms are clean, modern and we had a nice view from our balcony. Would definitely recommend renting a car if you stay to make the most of your time in Naxos as the island is very spread out. โ

Other reviews mention a breakfast, but when we stayed, there was no breakfast option, which would have been nice.
The beach was a ten minute walk away, as was the busy shopping and restaurant area.

โStayed 2 nights at Proteas and we absolutely loved our stay. The accommodation is gorgeous and the pool is much larger than I was expecting. Staff are wonderful. Itโs a 10min walk to all the shops, cafes, restaurants and beach.
I highly recommend this place if youโre looking for something away from the chaos but still very close to everything and with such beautiful character. โ
