"Our ocean view balcony was amazing! The suite was well equipped. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was a pleasant temperature. The pool deck could have used more lounge chairs. Most days they were being saved and no one was actually using them. Staff needed around pool area. Could enforce rules about not holding loungers with personal items and towels for hours without using the loungers."

"Absolutely loved stay in Evexia! Boutique vibe thanks to which stay is more intimate, perfect for couples, super spacious room (we had the one with sea view and 2 balconies which was a nice surprise), just few minutes walk to beach where you only need to buy a drink and you have sunbed for free as you are guest of Evexia, very close to amazing restaurants and recommendations we got from hotel were absolutely spot on! We are already planing next trip!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always willing to help with a smile. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to the main attractions while still being peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"4th stay at Aestas, always excellent. The property is situated off the main street within easy walking distance of the beach and excellent restaurants. The pool is perfect for relaxing and lounging away the day, rooms are maintained to a great standard and always spotless and Katerina is always super helpful. Lovely resort and great stay."

"I arrived on a Saturday evening, told there was an electrical issue with my room and needed to move me to their sister hotel, 20 minute taxi ride away (& further away from chania), having looked at the map, & seeing how far it was, nothing much around it, I told them it wasn’t acceptable, that I had booked the hotel in October (staying June), and I booked that hotel due to the location on the main road and I could head out at night on my own and feel safe! They ‘found’ me a room, 312, which was at the top of the stairs, near the lift & over reception entrance so would hear all the noise, it wasn’t the room I booked, it was a basic room & I booked & paid for deluxe, I came back to reception & they moved me to room 405, much better and the room I had booked, bigger and brighter! So from having no rooms, to having 2 rooms!! I do feel as a solo traveller they thought they could do that to me!! The hotel is nice, reviews about the food are a bit harsh, I’m a bad eater & always managed to eat, the serving dishes were small which meant they run out, but meant it was topped up regularly with fresh food, the flavours of the food were nice & good variety, negative was that it wasn’t always hot, so found myself eating quickly, could have done with a microwave like a lot of Spanish places do. Even if all inc, I recommend dinner at MISTOS across the road for sunset, but you need to book, great views, food and staff! Also Hugsy’s for an after dinner drink!"

"The location on the seaside is great. There is a private beach with sun beds for the use of the guests. Rooms facing the sea are very nice. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast is very good. The staff is nice and very helpful. We stayed for four nights, after two nights we asked if it possible to be moved to second floor (nicer view but somewhat smaller room) and after checking they have moved us up for the rest of the stay. All in all on a decimal scale I would rate 9/10."
