Hôtel Saint Christophe Aix en Provence Centre Ville
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were clean, air conditioned, everything was amazing. The most amazing was the staff, Maury and Hary were the most friendly, helpful and amicable front desk staff I have even encounter and we traveled a lot, they both went above and beyond, and we learned how talented they were speaking French, English and Spanish, wow, to have someone trilingual I mean is gold! Give this hotel a try and you will not be disappointed! ❤️🏨🏨"
"The hotel is clean, well-airconditioned, and well-maintained, with a helpful, English-speaking staff. The pool is a plus during the very hot summers. It is out of town, but a quick ride by Uber or taxi; if you have a car, you can park in the multi-story facilities around the city (don't try driving in Aix, which is very pedestrianized and easily walkable). The breakfast buffet is good and copious. If you don't want that much food, or to pay the 21 euro charge, there's a bakery about a five-minute walk away."
"This is an exceptional property and certainly one of the finest five star hotels in the entire Provence. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was amazing; and the dinner in the restaurant should not be missed. We know the region very well and believe there is no finer hotel as a base for exploring the Provence. Steven Kaplan USA"

10/10 Excellent
"It's a nice area that's walking distance to the main roads and visitor centre. The staff was friendly and the room was pretty spacious. There's also a fruit water station right at the entrance and sometimes snacks as well! Best of all, the AC in the room was amazing! It was a real game changer given this summer's heat wave."
"The hotel is in a good location close to the city centre and the room was nice. However, it would be better if there was a power socket near the full length mirror and a small mirror on the table."
"There are some really lovely things about this hotel, including the wonderful gardens, a great pool and a fantastic breakfast.
However, for a five star hotel, my deluxe room felt very basic and the bathroom was cramped with no windows and no storage space.
The most disappointing thing was the staff. Our experience was extremely mixed we had a very good initial welcome but then a waitress for supper at the pool bar was dismissive and very unfriendly and that was the experience throughout
There was unfortunately a fire alarm in the middle of the night when we were there, which caused all guest to vacate their rooms. These things happen but I was against surprised that for a small family run hotel there was no word of apology for the inconvenience verbally or in writing from members of staff.
So a mixed day, but for the money, I don’t think I would be back despite the lovely garden and breakfast"
"Great front desk staff; breakfast was a slightly better than average buffet in a beautiful dining room. The lobby area of this old convent is historically maintained & rich in character. The lobby area & dining area did lack A/C, which was sorely needed during this heat wave. The bedroom we had lacked enough vacant plugs to use for charging our devices. Overall tho, this was a marvelous & comfortable accommodation."
"The room was clean and quite comfortable with the air conditioning. We had a flat with stove, refrigerator, sink and dishwasher. The Aparthotel Adagio had underground parking; we left the car there and just walked into the city center. We were close to everything--the Intermarche, the Boulangerie, ATMs and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised with the staff speaking English. And, there was a self-service coin operated washer and dryer on the premise. We would have loved to have added a day or 2 more at this location. It was perfect!!"
