Pleasant option in Aix les Bains. It is a bit of a distance from the SNCF station but there are busses. Breakfast was good and had good selections. The pool/spa are a bit more basic than one might believe from the description but were acceptable.

Amazing stay. The room we were given was very nice and we had our own private rooftop balcony area that is bigger than the regular balconies shown in pictures. Spa access provided which was nice and the location is good with a good view. Only issue is that shower is very low down and we struggled. I am 5’5 and had to lean over a bit. My boyfriend is over 6ft so was harder for him. Also food we ordered was small portion sizes, not much to the meals so wouldn’t recommend paying fot if it’s your only meal. It tasted nice tho.

Not very updated and no AC outside the rooms. AC in room can't be set lower than 22.5 c which is too hot when it's 95 degrees outside and they have windows open all over. Dinner was so so and not worth the price. Sat us in a hot sunny corner so it was miserable. Shower set up was one of the worst I've seen in France. Hand held unit didn't fit the upper holder and hose too short so when raising it above your head it cut the water off. Staff was nice though.

Une climatisation qui ne refroidit pas en plaine canicule. Un ménage qui laisse à desiré. Un petit déjeuner tres cher pour ce qui est proposé. Un ensemble vieillissant. L’accueil est sympathique. Les chambres sont grandes.

Belle détente en famille avec notre chienne.

Chambre grande et lits confortables, beaucoup de rangements, du calme et un parc collé trés agréable. Dommage pour la moquette dans toutes les pièces et des 26 degrés dans la seule chambre principale climatisée, qui au moment de la canicule, aurait été mieux de pouvoir être réglée à 24.

À moderniser

Personnel très agréable, de très bonne qualité entre l’accueil et le bar. Le gros bémol de cet établissement qui est le seul à refuser le short de bain contrairement aux autres hôtels de la ville. Hotel, dans son jus d’une époque, lointaine au niveau décoration, un voyage dans les années 70.
