The guesthouse is located quite near the centre, our room was not so large but confortable. The bathroom wide and clean. Good stay

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Acco guesthouse is a great walkable distance from a handful of dining options and shopping. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the beds were large and comfortable.
The bathroom however, was quite tight. The shower ledge takes up a lot of room even though the shower is very small. The ledge also had a decent size chunk out of it which was a big hazard when we had just woken up in the morning and weren’t used to our surroundings.
Overall it was a good, cheap stay for a night. It's not very far from all the restaurants and bars, but it is also at the top of a fairly large hill. The facilities were nice enough. Though the tv in my room was flickering. I'd recommend if you just need a place to stay for a night or two.
Room was small but adequate. Bathroom had multiple broken tiles in the shower, a tiny sink and minimal water pressure. Towels were very thin. Beds were comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
good location near the church. Liked the clean room, but parking is nighmare. Only 4 are available for 10 rooms. street parking is only options for the weekdays with parking fee. Weekend is fine. We had a shower issue but property manager responses were bit annoying.
DO NOT STAY HERE!
The property is unclean and poorly kept. When I got out of the car, the first thing I noticed was a foul odor emanating from the house bins, which had remained full since my arrival till I departed two days later. There were flies both inside and outside the house. The scent in the house is awful. A combination of unclean and strong culinary odors. The room was filthy, and I have pictures to prove it. The advantage is that the guest house is conveniently located.
It was quite nice. However we were in the basement rooms, which is a bit uncomfortable. The biggest problem is that there were no shadow curtains, so the sun came into the room in the morning.
Just a 10 minute walk to the buzzing downtown. The guesthouse was clean and tidy and though we weren’t in Akureyri long, we appreciated staying In a walkable location with coffee in the morning.
Good location, walkable distance to restaurants and city center. Limited parking could be a problem for late check ins. Door codes were convenient, easy check in and entry. Shared kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious room but there was a stain in the ceiling which could be potentially a leak upstairs, hopefully they will fix it. The shower was a bit small, the curtain wraps around you when it gets wet. Plastic shower curtain might be a better fit. Good stay in general, spacious room. Laundry facility would be a great idea since the area has only one commercial laundry.
The hostel was well organized and accessible. Room and bathroom were very clean, but bed sheets smelled bad, it was a bit disappointing. Easy parking in front of the property. The city is very nice and very close to the hostel.
What is unique about this property is the absence of hot water. Space is pretty limited in a kitchen, so you have to wait some time before having dinner.
Washroom room 201 corner of bath broken it hurt, bed painful and no parking if you arrive late so street parking. Check in 5 pm check out 10 am. Someone was cooking in the basement the had rice and non veg smell. Not worth
No towels provided. We were asked to use a 'communal towel'... and share with others...?
Beds were old and I had back ache the day after, the rooms were loud from noises outside the building.
Parking is street parking and check in/check out times are very inconvenient.
There is a hotel right across the street that was cheaper and cleaner... unfortunately it was not available for 2 nights so we had to sleep here for a night.
Okayish, the bed linen was synthetic. No paper towels etc in shared kitchen. Plates and cutlery was worn out at the end of their life. 2 tea towels for the whole kitchen which propbably was shared by 5 or more rooms.
