โHotel was great. Staff very friendly and available 24/7. You are very much in the center of Cairo, which can be overwhelming to some, so just know that going in. For me, I thought it was great and gave a great feel for the city compared to staying at a big name resort. May look a bit sketchy but never felt unsafe.
Rooms are exactly as pictured. Our room had a fantastic covered balcony/porch that was well decorated and had a couch. Was massive. โ

โThe hotel is full of charm and original wooden panelling. I loved it. Like stepping back in time. The bedroom furniture was a bit disappointing but the rest of the hotel made up for that. From the period elevator to the lovely rooftop bar/restaurant, there was something to look at. No bland, corporate walls in sight. The staff were lovely. Staying here is a taste of the glory days of travel in the early 20th century. โ
