Great property with utterly charming hosts

Lovely place to stay with charming hosts. We were offered flexibility on our room choice (unsolicited) as the weather was blisteringly hot and our host wanted to make sure we had the room of our choice in the circumstances. We ended up with a room overlooking the pool with a brilliant outside area with seating. Breakfast was an absolute delight with home made produce adding a fantastic and extremely tasty extra. Parking was off road and secure with the only consideration necessary related to the host's advice to reverse down the road to the property as there is no turning point. If you do request private parking this is unnecessary as it essentially provides adequate turning space behind the locked gates. Albi centre is only a short walk across the bridge. In our case we didn't venture too far due to the exceptional heat over our one night stay.

A great stay in Albi.

A great place to stay and a very comfortable room. Anne was a lovely hostess and the breakfasts were high quality. I would definitely stay here again and would heartily recommend it to others.

We spent two days in Albi at the end of 3 weeks in France. Le Rez is a 3 storey stone building just over the bridge from the old centre of Albi. The owners live in the house and rent out 4 suites (adults only). We had a large suite with a modernised bathroom but a traditional bedroom and sitting area, complete with a small fridge for our wine, beer and water. Individually chosen art covers the walls. We were warmly welcomed and had several delightful interactions with the owners over our stay (aided by the fact that we speak French). The location is fantastic with very easy access on foot to all the sites. There is a food market on the street on Saturday. There are several excellent restaurants in the area and the hostess has prepared a list and made a reservation for us at one of the most interesting. An exceptional breakfast was taken in the garden. It was very hot (38-40C) and continually sunny while we were there so access to the very nice pool was vital. The bedroom was warmer than we would have liked but the owners have done their best with good fans to help sleep. We loved our stay and are very happy we found Le Rez on Expedia. It was a unique experience and one we would repeat.

Une qualité d’hébergement comme il en existe peu. La maison est magnifique, au calme avec un beau jardin. Située en plein centre. Les hôtes sont vraiment professionnels et tellement sympathiques.

Accueil attentif et chaleureux de Anne et Franck . l’hébergement est situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre historique d’Albi . Nous avions la jolie chambre sur jardin avec terrasse qui est très agréable. À recommander sans hésitation..

Le Rez de Jardin : une super maison d'hôtes.

Nous avons été superbement reçu par nos hôtes du Rez de Jardin. La maison est splendide, la chambre superbe et le petit déjeuner copieux et de très grande qualité. De plus la maison est très bien située pour aller visiter Albi... Tout se fait à pieds ! Super séjour !

A 20:30, Les propriétaires sont couchés si vous n’êtes pas arrivés ils ne se réveilleront pas pour vous accueillir et vous faire rentrer. Alors si vous avez un retard imprévu il va vous falloir trouver un autre hébergement pour la nuit. Votre argent encaissé ils ne restitueront pas ! Après oui c’est dans les conditions de vente donc ils ne s’autorisent aucune flexibilité ! Et voilà mon expérience avec… non pas chez eux mais plus avec eux !
