The true beauty of the castle, though, lies with it's interior rooms, which were handcrafted by Arabian workmen (under Christian rule) in the early 14th-century. The attention to detail and the scale of the works rival those found at the Alhambra and the Alcázar of Seville. Well worth the entry fee just to wander the rooms.
