"A lovely location and a lovely room. A gem that I'll definitely be returning to. The staff were excellent. The hotel has made the most of the old castle - which creates a wonderful atmosphere. The bathroom in our room was stunning. Clearly recently refurbished and it impressed.
My only comment would be that they should have a history of the building, and more about the town itself available for guests. There are so many historic photos showing the old castle and the destruction done to it by Napoleon, but nothing talking about the previous noble family, or the relationship between the town and the ruined castle in the 19th century (when it was clearly heavily looted), and finally how it became a Parador.
This is a systematic gap at the Paradors. Too little information at them about the hotels themselves and the local area. Each Parador needs an extensive mini-website or booklet at the hotel detailing all this."
"Great place, amazing views of the museum and cathedral. They let me store my bags before check-in and after check out. Nice cafe/restaurant in the hotel. Close to everything, very walkable."
"Beautiful clean and great location as everything is in easy walking distance. Only thing I would not recommend is purchasing the breakfast, but everything else was great."
