the room accommodations, and deck area were outstanding! the staff was amazing, Rau who manages the entire property in the evening was gracious and helpful. Loved our say, will be back!

Room clean but would benefit from a bathroom update. Commented on noise because election rally went on till late across road from hotel both nights of our stay. We took the train from Porto to Pinhao so did not have the benefit of a car. Lots of walking up very steep hills in Pinhao, but loved the challenge. The boat tours up the Douro are not to be missed, and we visited two wineries in 2 days.
All of the personnel were friendly and helpful
