"Hotel Steinbock is a wonderful hotel, where one can definitely have a rest,enjoy the spa and the beautiful view from the hotel. The service and food are really high class,everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The spa is simply great. We had a car so driving to the better ski areas,5minutes drive,was very easy. The bus stop also is next to the hotel and can take you everywhere,buses are every 10 minute. We had a great and memorable time."

"Staying here was a fluke, and one of the highlights of my three visits to the Allgau region, in fact I would go as far as to say my three trips to Germany. I should point out I enjoy climbing in the mountains of NZ, so the rolling hill country that this area covers was a great relaxing way to meet both the country and the people. "We chose this hotel because it said it was 10 miles from Lech. When we went to drive to it, google maps is showing it is over a 2 hour drive away. Needless to say, we did not stay at the hotel as contrary to what was listed on the site, it is not near Lech. When we went to cancel our reservation, there was no answer from the hotel. Currently dealing with Hotels.com to get a refund."

"Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and excellent sauna. Expedia has the Visa symbol which implies a payment method, however the hotel does not accept Visa is any credit cards, only cash or EC card."
