"Breakfast was ok. The owner was very helpful in coordinating breakfast time. Paid extra for ac, this was not specified before but was 6 dollars a day. We have paid a lot less in Iquitos for a similar room with ac and hot water. Overall a good experience and very convenient to the airport."

"The expectations are pretty low in Iquitos, but this hotel managed to slip UNDER them. Staff was unaware of my reservation (having a digital copy of the Hotels.com receipt saved me) and just seemed unable to make things happen. I asked numerous times if I should just go somewhere else, but they seemed powerless to even enable that decision. The room was dirty (stained sheets and hair in the sink drains) and the towels wet. That last point can be forgiven in the jungle, but not when piled...

"So itā€™s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesnā€™t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. Iquitos is a rowdy town. Itā€™s lively with a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is not: it is serene. I loved it so much, I ended up staying an extra night. Itā€™s calm, relaxing, and downright beautiful. Right when you walk in, you are met with a beautiful courtyard that centers a gorgeous pool. Thereā€™s a small bar and restaurant, excursion services, and a 24 hour service concierge. My bed was comfy and the hotel is quiet and filled with beautiful flowers and trees and plants (yes inside the hotel). Will stay again 100%. Ps. The staff were all incredible. Such cool people!"
