“The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The apartment had two rooms and was clean. The water came with a weird smell, but for a day was perfect. The location is great right on the beginning of bayahibe.”

“No one on staff spoke English. The hotel is very dated and unkempt. There were several power outages in the 16 hours we were there.”

“Casa is the best place to stay in the DR, very private and secure. Staff is great, they will try to help you with any questions you have, and they really seem to like the work they do, making sure guests have the best vacation experience possible. Golf is great, but so are the beach, pools, and restaurants. All inclusive is the best way to go.”

“This is the 4th time we stay we loved it the first few times but it seems now they are renovating some things . Some amenities like some pools and areas will be closed least in our time there . Food prices increased. Service is still pretty good . Luxury 3 villa lacked of comforters not a big deals but they only provided some throw blankets that were still too small for the beds . Over all we would come back.”

“Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team...

You can get this beach walking for 15 minute but this property offers free round trip from this property to the Dominicus beach every 30 minutes from 9am to 5 pm”
