"The owner did at all not know we were coming (normally they do not rent during eastern holidays) but kindly they arranged it it all anyhow very well. Conmmunication with Hotells.com/Dancenter/owner did not work at all. We had finally to contact the owner directly and made it work together with them. Did not get the house we booked but a god one that worked anyhow. "

"Lovely hotel in great location, just across from University and within walking distance to everything Uppsala has to offer. Lovely deck out the back to enjoy an evening drink and lovely breakfast area with a superb breakfast with lots of very fresh options. Very friendly staff "

"I really loved the old school approach. No overwhelming signs telling you how to act according to environmental concerns and how great their carbon footprint is, just a clean and well kept hotel , in a great area with a nice breakfast. Really, not much more is needed! A warm and cosy 19 th century building in great condition. I would definitely not have a problem staying at this hotel again. / Kevin"

"This was our third stay at the hotel. The building is unassuming from the outside, but very nice with lots of character inside (including rooms). Great breakfast and helpful staff. The inclusion of a buffet dinner in the room price was a nice and rare bonus - certainly saved us a bunch of kroner. Everything is within walking distance, but that probably holds for other hotels in Uppsala. I would return for a fourth stay without hesitation!"
