Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and owner. The absolute BEST breakfast we had in one month on the road in Turkey. Amasra is gorgeous - recommend the town and this hotel highly!

Fantastic hotel!

The staff was supremely helpful and friendly. The homemade breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. The most delicious jams made from local fruit trees! Such a wonderful experience!

A lovely, quiet family run hotel overlooking the city of Amasra. Everyone and especially thestaff at reception, are kind and accomodative. They were kind enough to let us know there was no lift, so asked if we would prefer a lower floor and helped us with our luggage as well. Breakfast was a generous buffet but also had the ability to ask for a specific request (ie a cheese omelet).

A1 service, the owner was very friendly and caring of their guests. Growing their own fruits and making home made jams that were very delicious and looking after one disable dog it is so valuable. One negativity is that the premises doesn’t have a lift but staff helped to carry luggages. Highly recommended

Very nice hotel, just outside Amasra. Quiet and beautiful sea views. Breakfast without a doubt the best we’ve ever had. Everything from the own garden and freshly prepared.

Lovely small hotel

Nice hotel. Very friendly family establishment. Clean. We were very happy with all the arrangements. They even switched the rooms for our friend who had difficulty walking. Their breakfast buffet was amazing.

Where do I begin? When we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed by the owner. He gave us the 411 on the area and recommendations on where to go and eat. He took the time to make a reservation for us at the best restaurant in town. It was ah-mazing! The view is breathtaking. The staff is phenomenal. I cannot forget to mention the breakfast. It was one of the best I've had while visiting different cities in Türkiye. Most of the food is made fresh, and the jams are made from scratch. Also, we drove to Amasra and left the car at the hotel the whole time. They arranged taxi rides for us, and it was great! Overall a great experience. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

NICE HOTEL - GREAT STAFF

Nice hotel on a cliff top. Extremely friendly staff who greet you outside on arrival. Our room was clean and spacious and had a nice balcony where you can see the water. There is no lift in this hotel so be prepared to walk some stairs. It was not a problem for the staff to carry our bags up to our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from – extra food was also cooked individually. There was a poor dog that barked a lot which was very noisy. A bit of a distance to the town centre – you will need to get a taxi. There are no cafes or restaurants to walk to in the area. We had a car so it was not a problem.

Very clean and comfortable, we had a balcony with a view of the sea. All staff were exceptionally friendly snd helpful. We enjoyed the best breakfast of our 2 weeks in Turkey. All produce grown by the owners and prepared fresh daily including breads, conserves etc. Huge variety. A little out of town, so a good walk is in order (or short drive if you have wheels) but definitely worth staying here if that doesn’t bother you. Amasra is a beautiful little town and well worth visiting.

We needed a place to stay for one night in Amasra. We were only expecting clean beds and if possible a quiet place, not more than that. Ceylin exceeded our expectations by ten times. Indeed the rooms and the facility were very clean. It was very quiet. View was breathtaking. I travel a lot with my family, and I can tell you Ceylin offered one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever seen. They offer fresh tomatoes and herbs from their vegetable garden, and fresh peppers from a nearby producer. Pastry and the jams were home made by the owner. This is a family-owned resort. The owners treat you like a family, and try to accommodate whatever is possible. Examples: We asked for extra omelettes, done! We asked for fresh juice, done! We asked where we can get the same high quality fresh vegetables to take with us. The owner Mehmet Bey picked up the produce himself from the producer for us. You will make no mistake if you stay at Ceylin.
