The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and very efficient. They gave us two connected rooms for our group of three. The rooms and hotel were very clean. Nice simple, very tasty breakfast. Located 5 minute walk from the Partition Museum and 15 minutes from the Golden Temple.
Stay here if you want good and reliable standards.
It was a great stay, good air conditioning and food options (including options if you do not feel like having indian food). The hotel has been well furbished and all fittings work well (other indian hotel ive been to usually had something faulty or not well installed) and were well kept, such as taps being polished well.
Staff were great, fruendly laundry and housekeeping. The general manager was pleasent and welcoming, he went over and beyond as a host. I liked the hotel was so near to the golden temple and with sweet shops and a pharmacy nearby (I had a cold and got something from there).
The beds were comfy and very clean, and i quite liked the selection of complementary teas and coffees.
Bed sheet and pillow cover had stain we checked out few hours after checking I would not recommend staff was nice enough to offer refund need to work with Expedia
The location of the hotel is not the best being on a small back street with a lot of traffic but the hotel did their best to make us welcome. The rooms were ok but the bed was slightly damp. To be fair it was only 10 degrees centigrade so it cold for India. Overall the hotel was good.
Great hotel overall a great experience. They had trouble finding my booking voucher but eventually did. Will stay again. Tv had a problem and on reporting was fixed straightaway
Initially we were offered a dingy room with NO ventilation, when we asked for change for room we were asked to pay additional 1200 Rs, thats 25% additional. I paid the money and NO reciept was issued, even after asking.. and I was made to wait for another 30 min(btw that's 4pm in eve).
The new room had a window, but the bedsheets were unclean and there were no towels, kettle was not working.
Next day I wanted to.check out at 1 instead of 12, the reception refused and did me a favor by agreeing for 12:30 checkout.. I bought some merchandise and a return drop by cab.. again no receipts were issued.
Only thing good about this hotel is the location, the service is horrible and the reception staff is uncourteous and are running the hotel as their personal fiefdom !!
Brilliant location in walled city. You can walk to town hall 2 mins, and Golden Temple, 5 mins.
Rooms very good, service generally welcoming. Nice areas to sit and relax in hotel.
Arranged cars for us to border and airport, all very efficient.
Would recommend.
Great location within easy walking distance of the golden temple. Clean room with great shower. Breakfast buffet a little disappointing, also only flask of milky sugary coffee available.

Very bad experience. Would never recommend this hotel. Wifi was really bad: slow or non-existent at times Breakfast was substandard. Staff was not friendly. Housekeeping would forget to bring essentials like toilet paper or towels.

Good location. Walking distance to golden temple.
Wifi / internet issues were a real challenge and a put off. Very low lighting on room floors. Good breakfast options and service.
The approach to hotel is congested and proper parking is not available. Overall the hotel room quality and service was good.
Though hotels.com charged me in usd via trivago and rate came to be about 11k per night where as trivago was showing around 8k per night.

The hotel house keeping need to improve as the rooms were very dusty. 1 stayed for 2 night and house keeping made my room with no improvement for 2nd day. I could still see the floor and bed dusty.
Wi-Fi connected was hassle as we need to approach the reception for password and was weak.
Manager burst into our room in act of intimidation
We booked this hotel for the start & end of a trip. The experience the first few days was so bad, we canned the 2nd stay.
The primary incident leading to that decision was an incident the morning after check-in. I responded to expedia's email to rate my checkin experience with a mixed review - positive feedback on staff, but with a mention that the water had not been very hot when I showered that morning. Within a min of sending the feedback in, our room door swung wide open and the housekeeping manager started to walk in, saying that there had been negative feedback on water. I jumped in front of him and told him to stay out. He moved back but stood waiting for me to check on the water temp. The water was warmer now and I said so. He left, and my mum and I were left aghast. This incident left us feeling extremely unsafe the rest of the trip. There were several other encounters over the next few days. Such as the the time we came back to the room after leaving the room service indicator on, to find that nothing had been done. But staff had been to our room as our second room keycard which we had left in the slot had been taken away. Another day, 'housekeeping' meant staff turning on the AC to 18 deg celcius when we left it at 30 deg. We wld leave the AC/fan on at this high temp for air circulation as the room constantly smelt musty and there was no other ventilation. We came back to a freezing room which took forever to warm up. I ended up sick with a fever that night
