Older hotel but still had everything you needed. Not a lot of good lighting in the room but a good size. Breakfast was decent and location was very close to bus stop to get around the city.

Great location in a really lovely area. 15 minute walk to the museums, with beautiful shops, a couple of markets, and a variety of restaurants just around the corner, plus the bus to and from the airport stops just two minutes away, which is really handy. My only gripe was the sound of doors slamming (walls are a bit thin) but the room itself was great - very clean with a nice modern bathroom, a coffee maker and a fridge - and the staff were lovely. Would definitely stay here again

Nice, small place in a nice residential area. My only complaint is that I had an issue with the bathroom sink faucet. It was leaking from the top handle and it was spilling onto the floor which made the floor even more slippery with the wall-in shower. Rooms are small, but very modern and clean. Had a room that accommodated 4 ( king size bed and a bunk bed. Would stay there again.

I was fortunate to be upgraded, I was only at the Alfred one night so didn’t use any amenities etc! If All my stays in Amsterdam, the Alfred has been the best, close to great restaurants etc!

Nice hotel, clean, tidy and well maintained with good facilities in the room. Located in quiet, safe area within walking distance of the city centre and tram stops nearby for travelling across the city. Perfect for a short stay to see the sites of Amsterdam, think continental breakfast was available but we booked room only and plenty of local eating options by the hotel.

Overall, we had a very good stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well. Overall the experience was pleasant and we would consider staying here again.

The Alfred hotel is centrally located just off a canal and walkable to the Museum campus. They have a breakfast buffet that could be purchased if not booked with the room. Very authentic Netherlands fare(bacon, eggs, holland pancakes) as well as coffee juices and fresh fruit. The hotel rents bikes. Very satisfied with our choice to stay here. Thanks Hotels.com. Once again a wonderful success for our travels.

Visually, It is an older hotel. Location is good wih a great transit system that get get u anywhere in the city. The walking distance to certain attractions was good. Neighborhood is safe. We had a room that was spacious for 3 adults. We did not opt into the breakfast buffet. Not many amenities. Good bang for your buck. Amsterdam is an expensive city
