"Near congress center Nothing else. Absolutely horrible and condescending attitude of front office. Dinining options - McDonald next door or pizza slices from a mall that one can walk to about a kilometer away. This hotel is not more than two stars."

"We had a very interesting stay at Cranach Hermitage. We loved its historical significance and how it has been so beautifully restored. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we booked the hostel, which was clean but spartan by comparison. Note also that bathroom facilities are shared. To be fair the rates were very reasonable. Reception service at checkin and checkout was top class. Breakfast was exceptional, high quality and classy. "

"Waht a pleasant surprise. Clean and modern, and with some unique art and decor. Staff extrelemy helpful and with recommendations for thigns to see and do in Dressau, like the Bauhaus Museum (the art and decor of the hotel were inspired by this). Parking nearby, but ask abotu what spots are OK for what hours. Not many restaurant options neary, but plenty in town."

"Good sized room for family of three, although a bit dated, but serviceable. Could do with an update. Lots of free parking. Shower was ok. Only issue for us was that there was no a/c that we could see or set, and we felt room was too warm for us so we had to open the window at night. However, the room had motorised shutter blinds so the cooler air could flow in and thus we still felt secure. Breakfast was ok, could have done with a larger hot selection. "The hotel has no AC. Our room was above the front of the hotel, where everyone gathered on the patio to drink and smoke. The noise and the smell were terrible. The room was hot, and to open the window your room smelled of smoke. We woke up at 6:30 am to the smell of smoke. How dreadful! We asked for a fan, but the hotel did not have any. And the hotel is located on a busy road. Needless to say, we had a terrible sleep. We were cycling the Elbe river. We would not recommend. "

"Although the hotel advertises shuttle service with a surcharge and english speaking, i was told by the front desk that "No shuttle, get taxi". When i arrived, the busy dinner waiters were asked to speak english to me because the front desk staff couldn't. My luggage was lost for a day and a half so that compounded the issue of the lack of english speaking"
