โ Small country hotel with spa available for guests. Convenient location just NW of Ioaninna and offering a lake view. Clean and comfortable room with good air conditioning in July. Courteous staff provided a nice breakfast overlooking lake but charged extra for coffee.โ
โI LOVED staying here. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room comfortable and quiet. It's close to everything and very convenient to shopping and dining. Staying in the Castro is highly recommended. โ

The mountains view from the room balcony and from the hotel lobby is stunning.

โInexpensive hotel right in the heart of Ioannina. The PLUS is they have their own private parking lotโ worth the $ right there. Good signage directing you as well. Lady at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Elevator/ lift is very small, so could be a problem if there were lots of people waiting. Nice lighting in room. Windows had a metal pull-down shade as well as curtainsโ nice blackout for those that like that.โ
