โThere are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort.
First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing.
We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained.
There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. Maybe other reviews...
โOnly one thing i cant give a high score is that they do not provide complimenrary water in a room but they gave us welcome-juice upon arrival. There were 6 bottles of purified water in the ref and consumed 2 bottles. When i had check-out, they charged some amount for that. :< other than that, all GOOD! hahaโ
โGreat time, extremely friendly hospitable staff! The place itself is maybe for younger guests, loving partying and various musical pleasures. Just seconds from the beach itself, and a whole bouquet of different restaurants with excellent food. Luxurious access to guided snorkeling tours, etc. Bring mosquito repellants with you - these insects could bite around sunset and an hour or so after, if you would want to be on the porch. Fantastic place, great owners!โ
โGood location, just a few steps from the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...
โThey were very accommodating, free brewed coffee and water, free rides when we asked and a person with disability room that was first rate. The pool was very clean and we'll kept. A wonderful experience.โ

Cleanliness definitely isnโt a top priority here. I stayed for 3 nights and had the same sheets and 1 small blanket for two people. The water would not work half the time, thankfully they did provide a bucket and ladle. Youโre required to give the receptionist the key, which I thought would be for cleaning purposes, thus after the first 2 nights my guest and I learned there would be no cleaning at...
โA very good located hotel right in the middle of everything white beach has to offer.. And right on the beach.. Only a few bad things to note;..'the electrics were hanging out of walls.. The room only had 1 bulb and 4 fittings.. The shower only dribbled, the sink did,nt work.. The tv did,nt work, the air con had a 1inch gap all around it so we could see outside, the toilet was not attatched, there was a funny smell which was the stained mattress, and the room was only cleaned after a week n...
