“Booked a one night stay as meeting up with a group of friends for a night out in Newark. My (standard) room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The bar/dining area was very cosy with local beers (Pheasantry) on draught. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and the breakfast was superb. Excellent value for money - highly recommended!”

“Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.”

“Good parking on site with electric charger. Rooms were clean with comfortable bed and very comfy bedding.Breakfast was delicious, both continental and full English available. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Good central location with plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The rooms have been refurbished and modernised and the hallway was still in the process of being painted. Would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully get the chance to visit again. ”
