I thought it was a phishing scam and almost canceled my cards and my entire trip. It would have been nice for Expedia to state that this fee is already included in the payment and to ignore the automated e-mail. "Karaibes Residences" are a private apartment complex completely separate from the hotel. This information was not clearly communicated to us, and we must've spent well over an hour trying to get into every building in the area, before a maid finally told us where to go. "
