Excellent hotel, great service, friendly staff

Very nice hotel and great service and staff. In a busy section of the capital so some street noise at certain times of day. Overall very comfortable, with good wifi and excellent breakfast/meals.

A lovely, luxurious hotel in the centre of the capital city and right next to the Presidential Palace. Stunning reception area, restaurant, spa, and pool areas.

This hotel located in a very good location. Good hot water, A/C, needs more English channels. The breakfast is very good, more choices, staff always there to help you. Always we got good thick new towels. Front desk lady arranged a vehicle for us to go to Morndava and Kindley forest for reasonable price. Our driver Freddi took care of us finding hotels and driving safely. We had another driver also for the Lemur Park. We had upgrade and gifts. Second time or room carpet needs shampooing. We will stay again in this hotel!

Good value for the price

Good accommodations as it is close to a couple of good restaurants. The breakfast was great but the dinner food was very poor. The fitness center and spa were also good. The major downside were the prostitutes that hung out in the bar area and constantly bothered me.

Location ok. Amenities are good. But old and worn out pillow cases, worn out pillows, old and stained bed sheets. Front office told me I was on Bed only while I had booked BB only for them to confirm that I was indeed on BB on check out and I had already made my own alternative arrangements for breakfast during the week.

It is very important to understand that this hotel has an old and the new part of the hotel. With Expedia booking I was booked in the old part of the hotel, which is pretty old and it doesn't deserve to be on your booking page. Having said that I was unlucky/lucky that I didn't have water for the first evening and night and after that incident they moved me into the new part of the hotel, which was pretty nice. What Expedia needs to assure is that your bookings are always related to the new part of the hotel, as the old part isn't recommended at all, hence my average ratings for everything.

My room was changed 4 times. 3 times was due to not having hot water in the room. 1st day I went down for breakfast at 10 and was told it's closed, although the website says 10:30. Don't recommend it

Very dated hotel: terrible customer service!

I read about the poor condition of their business rooms, so I booked one of their superior rooms when I first stayed for one night: it was 'dated' but in reasonable condition with a shower only. On that basis, when returning to the capital after two weeks on the road, I booked a superior room again. The check-in experience was poor. I was given a superior room, (as per photo), and asked to change room. I was told by the receptionist, whom checked me in, that they were full and I could change rooms the following day to a better superior room - by the way, they are all 'dated' and in poor condition. I ordered room service and the pizza and the sautéed potatoes were not cooked: the restaurant manager came to my room and 'as a solution' offered to take it away and remove them from my bill: at check-out, I found the potatoes on my bill...I had to explain this to the 'grumpy' receptionist: she begrudgingly removed them from my bill. The laundry...don't get me started: DO NOT get your laundry done here. They charge a lot more than other hotels...my clothes, (mainly shirts), were still stained with dirt! I hear you say..."Why not speak with a manager?" From the time I checked in, I was told there was no duty manager...on a busy weekend! I left numerous messages for a manager to call me anyway, once they were on duty. I checked out on a 'week day' and I still was not contacted by a manager. The reason the hotel's customer experience is so poor, is because of poor management!
