Yes the hotel is very dated but we were made to feel welcome, had clean presentable room with fresh ironed bedding and towels and a very good tasty breakfast to suit all tastes. We slept well and it was a good base to explore Geneva and Annecy without the unrealistic hotel prices you see in the cities. "

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was excellent for accessing the airport as well as nearby transport links into Geneva city. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"It was a beautiful day when I was there, so I tried to find a spot to sit outside in the sunshine. There was a ground-floor area outside of the breakfast area that was closed midday, and another area outside of the main-floor restaurant that was only accessible if you were in the restaurant. It would have been nice to be able to sit in either of these areas and enjoy the lovely weather, but both were effectively off limits. The main floor restaurant was closed in the afternoon, so the outside area was also closed. Thanks."
