"The small hotel is in Marampata, Peru, close to Choquequirao. Everything that gets to Marampata comes on a human's or mule's back on a brutally long day of hiking. The fact that the hotel exists there is amazing in itself. No idea how the mattresses got there. My son and I stayed 2 nights on a recent hiking trip to Choque. "I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety at breakfast. Very happy with that. I feel like the photos on the listing of the room and view are much nicer than what it actually is. I loved having the freestanding air conditioner which kept our very tiny room cool and created white noise. Very affordable for what we got.
