"This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay. The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food. "Food good, breakfast nice, although expensive. Swimming pool looked and prob was lovely but right next to restaurant with glass walls so a bit too public for us. Nice sitting area close to trees with monkeys passing through. Staff very courteous and helpful, they arranged an elephant safari for us the same afternoon we arrived. The hotel is quite far from any other hotels or sights - Sigiriya is about 40 mins - so there’s no walking to eat anywhere else but you could get a tuktuk."

"Amazing - no other words needed! A two night stay in one of the tree houses - had the camp to ourselves , which was perfect. Staff were fabulous and went out of their way to ensure our meals were varied both in location and food . Excellent on both counts . Wild elephant encounter on our way in, had to reroute on the way out due to ele on the road (? Same guy?) . But a great detour . Just chilled in the fish spa and ate lots. "

"We stayed Moi Dambulla for 3 days. It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Its also really close to the Golden temple and can get to Sigirya easily. The staff members were excellent and went above and beyond. The place is very clean, I wasn’t keeping well on the day of checkout and the staff very kindly let us checkout late because of me. They also cooked us meals. Erande, the manager I believe and the staff were really great, we definitely recommend the stay. "
