"The hotel was excellent in all regards, including the restaurant. Short walking distance to the archeology museum. 10 min walking to the ferry boats. Breakfast was sumptuous and fresh. The only exception was the noise at the near by harbor. We stayed a total of 6 njghts. On three out of the 6 nights, there was loud music, some kind of party, at the near by harbor that lasted well after midnjght. "

"Beautiful beach view rooms, easy layout, enjoyable turtle haven in the lobby, many sun beds on the beach. Manager Manos runs around all day making sure everything is running smoothly in all areas to taking orders, clearing off plates efficiently, booking dinner reservations, etc all with a bubbling smile. "We had a two week stay May2024 and I have to say, we had a fantastic stay. We arrived just before the beginning of the season and it was pretty dead to be honest which was really nice to spend the first few days to relax. We mainly stayed by the pool most days and was very well looked after by Claudia who is a real asset to the team. She’s relentless in making sure you are well looked after. My main frustration is the rule around the use of the sun mattresses (yes that’s not a typo) around the pool being €150 a day. That’s ridiculous and there were only 1 or 2 being used, mainly after a certain time in the afternoon when things start to wind down. Personally, this is the one thing that needs to change as that’s a silly price. The food and booze is excellent although on the expensive side, you do get what you pay for so make sure if you don’t have all inclusive, you bring some cash. Everything else was brilliant, all of the team at the front desk and buffet breakfast should get a massive shout out. If we ever had an issue, it was sorted pretty much immediately. The hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the main town and you will find some brilliant local tavernas around there to complement your stay. Enjoy!!"

"Excellent hotel, everything from rooms to food to staff was excellent. Drinks are also excellent and not the cheap stuff you usually get with all inclusives. Having the restaurants within the hotel is very convenient and the food there is also great. Added bonus of having a desert restaurant which stays open into the night. "

"We were very pleased with this hotel at the center of Heraklion. We had a balcony to overlook a plaza and churches, there were tons of restaurants, bars, cafe's, stores and bus stops just a few minutes' walk, and it was very close to the downtown area. Even parking was not bad - we found a 24-hour public parking close by. Our room was cozy and quiet with a large bed, and a clean bathroom that had no water leak (happens often in abroad). The staff were nice and helpful We tried the restaurants they recommended and we liked all of them. The only thing was the quality of breakfast served by the "Hacienda" cafe in the hotel building. The food in buffet was mostly dried and cold including coffee probably because they are prepared all at once. Well breakfast came "free", but we usually understand that it is included in the hotel fee. Anyways, besides that our stay was wonderful. We will definitely go back there."

"BEST HOTEL BREAKFAST EVER! We are frequent travelers so that we are fussy about breakfast options. AMAZING and TASTY! Offerings we would not even have imagined including homemade cookies, both sweet and savory dishes, including numerous Cretan specialties as well as every part of both an English and a German breakfast. AND the staff were ALL extremely friendly and helpful. The sea views overlooking the port from our room as well as the rooftop restaurant/bar are breathtaking. We have already recommended this hotel to various travelers we met along the way."
