"My expectations were set by the description and images which show a terrace and describe multiple rooms. That describes a hotel to me, but what you actually get is a room elsewhere in the town down an alleyway. It was fine, but not what i thought i booked. I never saw the terrace (a big part of the reason i booked) and am not sure it's even there, and nearly didn't find the location for check in as its up a hidden alley off the main street with no clear signage. "Staff very helpful especially Michael for our restaurant recommendation and transport assistance. The hotel was very clean, room spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Hotel is set in the heart of old town Bergamo ideal for walking around the walls, shops and restaurants. We caught the bus back to the train station which couldn’t have been easier a short 5 minute walk to the bus stop- I would recommend if coming in by train to utilise the bus up the hill to the hotel as it is quite a hike 40 mins and then the funicular ( which was the fun bit)."
